I’m so happy you’re here!
Hi! I’m Beth Mayr. A number of years ago, I was working in volunteer management for a nonprofit in my hometown of Baltimore, Maryland, and I realized that every need we had could be fulfilled with increased marketing. We amped up our publicity through content creation, social media, and email marketing - and our efforts were unparalleled. That year, we quadrupled the number of people experiencing homelessness who received a personalized Christmas present - and my desire to amplify the good works of others increased.
Over the next few years, I earned my Master of Arts in Emerging Media from Loyola University Maryland and transitioned into a full-time Communications position at a nonprofit, where I worked for five years.
Through my professional and volunteer experiences, I’ve got over a decade of experience in email marketing, social media, website management, video creation, graphic design, and more. I’ve got a heart for service (I even co-founded a non-profit that provides education to students in Ecuador!) and a passion to make a difference in the world. I strongly believe that good marketing and communications can increase time, talent, and treasure for your organization, and I’m excited to help you achieve those goals.
Outside of Marketing by Beth, I work at my local church in events/ communications/ volunteer management, volunteer with the non-profit I co-founded, and hang out with my sweet family. I love sushi, HGTV, red wine, exploring Baltimore, spreadsheets, new tech gadgets, and dancing.
